When Uncle Nadir dies unexpectedly in Palestine, a young boy and his father are forced to cross the border to Palestine for the funeral. The film chronicles the travails that ensue on the return to Israel, and a father's realization that he cannot hide the harsh truths of the conflict from his increasingly wary son.
